Gunmen abducted a policeman and two other persons on Tuesday at the Ahume end of the Naka/Makurdi Road in Benue State.
A source told DAILY POST that the victims were returning from a burial ceremony when the gunmen ambushed them around 4 pm on the expressway and took them to an unknown destination.
The abductors contacted the relatives of the victims and demanded N1.7m ransom.
