The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested four men for allegedly scooping gas from an electricity transformer at Dunga Sabo area of Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of the state.
This was contained in a media statement made available to journalists by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Wakil, on Thursday night.
He said that the suspects who connived among themselves to take advantage of the faulty transformer were arrested while committing the crime on January 4, 2023.
Wakil, a Superintendent of Police, said, “The Command has arrested four suspects for an act of conspiracy and vandalism on an electricity transformer.
