The Nigeria Police on Saturday debunked reports that the Federal Capital Territory was being saturated with bombs.
The police described as fake news reports in the news and on social media that bombs were being planted in FCT in connection with the terror alert issues by the United States on possible attack in Abuja.
In a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the police decried instances where individuals who are “presumed to be peace ambassadors and patriotic agents of national unity in Nigeria” are spreading falsehood.
