I Killed Him And Hanged him Afterwards.
A woman identified as Ozioma Orakwe,27 years old,from Agulu,in Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambara State has been apprehended by the Nigeria Police for murder.
In her confession,she stated that after killing him,she hanged him so that people will think that he committed suicide.
The suspect was alleged to have killed a 75-year-old relative,Mr Martin Orakwe after they had a little misunderstanding.
It could be recalled that a man had earlier been reported last week Wednesday, to have committed suicide without any reason for the action, however, investigations has revealed that the deceased was framed up and hanged to create an impression that he committed suicide by Ozioma Orakwe.
While the suspect was paraded by the Anambra state Police Command, she confessed to the crime and blamed devil for her actions.While speaking to newsmen on Friday,
“she said, the deceased and I had a little misunderstanding which later resulted to fight.I was angry and didn’t know when I hit him with a glass cup in my hand.Unfortunately he lost his life on the process, I was afraid people would judge me for killing him, that was why I decided to hang him and pretend as if he committed suicide”.
The state police command spokesperson,DSP Tochukwu Ikenga who confirmed the incident disclosed that the suspect would be charged to court when the investigation is concluded
