Nigerian Army beat hotel manager to death in Abia, after their colleague drowned in swimming pool
According to SaharaReporters, some Nigerian Army personnel allegedly killed one of the managers of the Hotel Royal Damgrete in Umuahia, Abia State, where a Nigerian Air Force cadet reportedly drowned in the swimming pool.
The manager, identified as Achimugu James Etubi, was reportedly beaten to death by soldiers on Friday morning at the military barracks.
CDT Chidiebere, a NAF Tarmac Four cadet, reportedly died in the swimming pool on Tuesday.
Following the incident, the Nigerian Army, led by Major Inuwa, who was reportedly investigating the unfortunate incident, sent soldiers to the hotel swimming pool to beat four hotel employees who were summoned for questioning. Etubi died during this process.
