A convicted Internet fraudster, Livinus Imoesi-Oshioke, who was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission before Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna State, has been sentenced to six months imprisonment.
He was also ordered to refund the sum of N36.6m which he fraudulently acquired from an unnamed victim from the United States of America.
In a statement signed by the EFCC’s spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, which was sighted by The PUNCH, Oshioke was convicted on Thursday, May 26, 2022.
The statement read in part, “Justice Umar convicted and sentenced Livinus Imoesi-Oshioke, alias Alexander Lutz, to six months imprisonment for Internet-related fraud.
