An inmate who escaped from the Kuje Correctional Centre in the Federal Capital Territory, Haruna Sunday, has been apprehended by the Nasarawa State Police Command for allegedly stealing property from a house in the Masaka community, in the Karu Local Government Area of the state.

According to Nansel, the suspect allegedly broke into the apartment on Thursday, June 8, and stole some mobile phones and a television set.
Policemen attached to the Masaka Police Division, he explained, arrested the suspect on Sunday following a tip-off, saying that upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to have escaped from prison.
