Girl/Child Education
We can do a whole lot more than we can imagine. Giving our girls quality education is a whole way to start.
Remember, if we want so much positive output in our society, girls should be center of focus.
Many of our girls and women in Africa do not even know there rights. They allow culture and tradition be a barrier in setting up a goal or pursue their dreams. well, that has come to an end as we now go around the rural and urban society to inform and educate our girl.
join hands with us and make this change.
let’s save our society
Women Tower Foundation ; Sister’s Fortress
Women Empowerment
Women Tower Foundation has taken it upon herself to go to many abandoned rural areas in the course of sensitizing, educating and empowering our women.
Many of these women lack basic education, little or no fund to start up a business, social amenities to facilitate what ever business idea they have and most hurtful, cultural and traditional setbacks has been a major hindrance.
we give them hope, train them and also assist them in setting up a profitable business of their choice.

Talk Show: Self Confidence Among African Women
Self Confidence Among African Women
The Effects Adopting Western Life Style Has On Black Women. It is indeed very saddening, disgusting & annoying to see black women imitating every dame thing the western world does. It’s in the bid to emulate everything they do that has made an average black African woman lout there to not only abandon our Culture & Traditions on how African black woman should live & comport themselves, but also has equally threw caution, dignity, pride & virtue into the dust bin all because of Western adulterated ways & norms of life/living. Today we see black women bleaching & toning their skin, pumping of lips,boobs/bottom & wearing of fake hair of which almost all black women of today are guilty of. It is said that when evil has been allowed for a long time,it becomes tradition, norms & part of life of a society which can never be erased or wiped out ever again. It is also an eye sour to see nor hear an African black woman going for surgery in order to enlarge either her boobs, bottom or lips; We have been endowed with natural beauty, grace & virtue & therefore do not need to emulate anything from the Western people at all, rather they should be d ones emulating us. It is a high time we stop enriching them by buying their Toning cosmetics products to change our original God given color/complexion which the Western world pay heavily to get by burning their skin during Summer. Most times I have heard & seen black women say they are going for Summer holidays in Western World, please we should stop fooling ourselves before these people, why go for Summer holiday in the Western world when we have more than enough Sun in African. If u want to go for a holiday in d Western world, please go for Winter holiday & not Summer, ok?. Conclusively,I will say there are more disadvantages in emulating whatever the Western people do,because they do their things according to their weather, texture of their skin & environment. Therefore I implore us to stop the boobs, lips & bottom enlargement,we should also stop bleaching our skins because it prolong use on our body can contribute to premature aging of our skin,(2)Increase risk of skin cancer from sun exposure.(3)The steroids in some skin lighteners may increase risk for skin infections, skin thinning, acne & poor wound healing.(4)The hydroquinine may also cause incurable skin discoloration known as ochronosis. For those of us that have joined the train of Breast enlargement either through pills or injections,i would want us to know that Breast enlargement pills contains a proprietary blend of ingredients that are only specific to the manufacturers, With each ingredient comes the potential side effect. Breast enlargement may also be an unintended side effect of certain prescription drugs like estrogen, birth control pills & antidepressants. Which also point out that no research of any kind have shown that natural breast enhancement supplement have ever shown the same result. When or if you review the ingredients in any breast enlargement pills that you take or intend to take & identify their individual side effect;this is why you are always advised to consult your doctor before taking any breast enhancement drugs or pills. Note that when you enlarge your breast, you expose yourselves to breast cancer easily.

I AM A SURVIVOR
Hands got sore from the burn of the hot coals. It sends a sharp stimulus to the brain; the body withdraws and never wants to give a try any more. The burning passion to still make it work and live my dream wouldn’t let me rest. My mind gets tortured of wanting to try again. I keep on getting burnt but had no peace in me to give up. I took a deep breath, take few steps back and kept watch. I couldn’t still see a thing. I sat down, filled with fury. There’s no me without living real me. There must be a way out. I was filled with sorrow. My heart was heavy. The burden on my shoulder is weighing me down. I stretched my hand but no one, no one to take it. No one to stand with me till the end of time. What a mystery! Mystery of being seen as an object than the subject of transformation”. I closed my eyes, but it was filled with reflection of betrayal, disappointments, pains, deceits, failures, torture, neglects….. Setbacks. Yea….I couldn’t contain it; with a loud scream I opened my eyes. My lips trembling and my hands shaking. Then there’s this sweet voice, calm and it whispers. …
No regrets. No regrets… you never failed. Where you are is far! Far! Better than where you’re coming from. You already have direction; you’re on the right path. Where you’re going will be far better than where you’re coming from. You’re in charge. Only you have the power to make it happen. …. Make it happen… make it happen!
This sounds also like a mystery. I have tried, and tried, and tried… still trying. I hardly move a feet. I’ve crawled. I still fail. Still pondering on this” There came a sharp flash light on my face, almost setting me blind. I covered my face with my burnt palms. They still hurt.
I can’t do this any more! Free me! I screamed
Free yourself! This voice whispered silently. You’ve come a long way to give up. It’s in your hands to make it work. Stop depending on anyone. Even your shadow leaves you in the dark. Learn to push without look back. If you keep counting your steps you might not get to your destination.
Life is a journey; there must be bus stops, road blocks, road bumps, car break down, tire burst, many times accidents. You’re a survivor! Even while drowning, keep your head above the water level…
My energy begin to fill me as I hear these words, I feel the cracking of my broken bones, I can hear its sounds, I pulled myself up and stood on my feet, I forgot the pains from the my burnt palms. I screamed so loud… I AM A SURVIVOR!
I bent once more and pulled the heavy burning coal, away to make a pass to my tilling. I tilled the ground so fast and energetically, I took my mind away from the pains and focused on my mission. I worked tirelessly. Lo and behold, there lies the gold I’ve been searching for, behind it laid the emerald, the precious stone. I picked up and laughed out loud, with tingly tears at the corner of my eyes. I cling it tight on myself and shed tears amidst laughter. Tears of victory and accomplishment”
I heard claps and shouts of victory behind me, surprisingly I turned to the back, and I can’t believe the people amongst the crowd cheering me up. Exactly the ones that tried to make my journey unsuccessful and told me I can’t make it. Ones who abandoned me when it seems to them I’m a liability and of no value” People who took advantage of my situation”
Ignore them and walk away’ this strange voice said.
Exactly! I replied.
I walked to them with a squeezed face, zero smiles. Pride” They were filled with shame and put their head down, scared of what might befall them. Their faces masked with guilt of their actions towards me. I halted before them, examine these faces and I threw my hands open and let them fill it. I burst into laughter and hugged them. I was so happy they came around. They were noise once again. I received praises and prayers.
I thanked them whole heartedly. They are the reason why I am me today. If a seed doesn’t die, it can never bear forth fruit. No pain no gain. If you never lacked something, you’ll never appreciate it. It’s through the pains of labor, that an offspring comes forth. I wouldn’t have been me without critics. I wouldn’t have learnt to walk alone if I was not abandoned on the way. I wouldn’t have recognized victory without failure.
Though toucheth my heart, and filled with inspirations.
Thou guideth my path and led me to my destination
Though speaketh to me in dreams, and filled my ears with words to unleash
Though toucheth my hand and blessed thee, and it was used tactfully and technically, and through it messages was passed
Let thou keep directing me for thy journey is still far!
You can be a survivor, only if though listens to thy God inside of you and not men around you

Women are an important element of the Society. The modern society has started recognizing the individual identity of women. Women should have her aspiration, abilities and qualities as a man does have and should have the opportunities to develop her faculties and to express them according to her own choice. Women can help the society in various ways. They can engage in social activities and work for the betterment of the society..Young educated girls can get engaged in a profession of her choice. We need more doctors, engineers, lawmakers, social workers, software developers etc. Africa cannot grow at good pace unless women come forward and take initiative for the development works. Women’s interest and participation in social life is increasing all over the world. This development is also the result of women’s education and secularization of social values. Women are participating in social organizations and are developing taste for leading a life of social involvement. You are more than what you think you are.

murder
The recent murder of an Owerri girl by her boyfriend who purported sponsored her education up till final year in the Polytechnic with a firm promise to be married together on graduation, but was later disappointed as the girl in question was already preparing to marry another guy has drawn comments and commentaries laden with emotions and sentiments, odium and vituperations, with everyone trying hard to underscore their perspective thereto. I must unequivocally state that CRIME IS A CRIME, irrespective of the predisposing factor. Given that the said boy sponsored the girl’s education premised on marriage to him, but was unfortunately disappointed by her, was that enough justification to take the life of the girl? My answer is NO and will always NO. The guy needs his head to be re-examined for allowing an ephemeral condition (heartbreak) though psychologically devastating to rule and ruin the rest of his life, for he shall surely rot away the greater part of his life in jail. Nevertheless, this should be a lesson to mostly young girls, who are ready to enter into any promise and agreement for the sake money. A promise made should be kept. It is morally wrong with high karmaic effects to pretend to love a guy with even a promise to marry him, only to wake up one morning and regard him with disdain and call bluff all his efforts at making you an educated person. CAVEAT: Not all guys can take it, their motto is; ‘man die go’. My firm advice, therefore, to girls who happen to come from humble families, with no enough finances to sponsor their education, is to strive and engage in some decent, though menial jobs and businesses to sponsor their education, instead of entering an unconscionable bargain with the ominous and dire consequence of self-mortgage just to be educated. Higher education should not be a do or die affair; go for it if you can, opt for another vocation if you cannot. Don’t mortgage your future, just to be educated. I still maintain, Free Gifts are Very Expensive.
