Police Operatives from Ovwian/Aladja Division in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State have arrested a fifty-year-old man, Augustine Gola Ejowo for the alleged murder of his forty-five-year-old girlfriend, Felicia Catibekpe.
The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Wale Abass, at a press briefing today in Asaba confirmed the arrest of the suspect.
He said the suspect was arrested on 21/6/2023 when he reported himself at the Police Station.
According to CP Abass, “the suspect stated that he murdered the woman during the course of a disagreement using a machete.”
CP Abbas said, “Suspect is in custody and investigation is ongoing.”
