Sit-at-home: Gúnmen set ablàze buses, paralyse economic activities in Imo

Suspected factional members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, enforcing a sit-at-home order, on Friday, burnt down two buses at Eke Obolo in Isiala Mbano Local Government council of Imo State.

Similarly, men on a sienna car blocked Onitsha road, around Irete Market axis, precisely around 8 pm on Friday when traders were retiring home and shot sporadically for hours ,

causing much tension in the entire community.

As a result, everyone around the vicinity, including residents, scampered for their lives to avoid being hit by stray bullets.

A lady, who pleaded anonymity, told DAILY POST that she was preparing to go home when four men, armed to the teeth, alighted from a vehicle and started shooting sporadically.

According to her, the operation, which lasted for over one hour, caused a long gridlock on the road.
