The High Court has granted the former CBN governor N300m bail.
An Abuja High Court sitting at Maitama has granted release to the detained former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, to N300million tune.
The court, in a ruling that was delivered by Justice Hamza Muazu, further ordered Mr. Emefiele to produce two sureties, who must be resident within the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and have landed property within the Maitama District.
Earlier, the court ordered Emefiele to surrender all his travelling documents, while fixing November 28 to commence complete hearing on the six-count charge, which Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, preferred against the Defendant.
