In a highly anticipated friendly scheduled for February 2024, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami will square off in what is expected to be the final meeting between two of the greatest players of all time.
Messi, now 36, established the majority of his legacy at Barcelona, while Ronaldo, 38, achieved similar success at fierce rivals Real Madrid after leaving Manchester United in 2009.
The Inter Miami player was reportedly courted by the Saudi league and was expected to follow Ronaldo there this year before ultimately choosing to sign with David Beckham’s Major League Soccer team.
Ronaldo signed for Al Nassr in December 2022, coming off a bitter breakup with United in his second stint at the club.
