A businessman asks for 16 troops, 20 police officers, and 12 DSS for security.
Popular Nicholas Ukachukwu, a politician and businessman from Anambra, has requested heavy security guards, including 16 soldiers, 20 police officers, and 12 Department of State Services agents, to protect him during this joyous occasion.
In order to fulfill certain obligations in early January 2024, Ukachukwu asked for strict security so he could travel to Osumenyi, his hometown in the Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Following gunmen’s attack on the convoy of Chief Chris Uba, the former political godfather of Anambra State, the businessman filed the application.
Two police officers and two other people were killed in Thursday’s incident at Uga Junction, in Uba’s hometown.
In separate letters to the heads of state security agencies, Ukachukwu—who recently wed Miss Universe Nigeria, Mitchel Ihezue—stated that he would require the security personnel due to the insecurity in the area.
In his signed letters, Ukachukwu stated that in order to carry out the tasks he had planned for the state during that time, he would require sixteen soldiers, twenty police officers, and twelve DSS agents.
