Kano APC takes actions against Ganduje
Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress has been suspended from the party by members of his ward , the Ganduje ward in Dawakin Tofa local government area of Kano state on Monday.
His suspension followed alleged corruption charges levelled against him by the state government.
Recall that the Kano High Court said Ganduje will be charged in court on April 17th for corruption-related offenses.
The state attorney general and commissioner of Justice , Haruna Dederi confirmed Ganduje and others, including his wife, will face charges of accepting bribes worth $413,000 and 1.38 billion naira. The charges stem from allegations that Ganduje took bribes and misused government funds.
Dederi emphasized the importance of accountability in government, stating that everyone, including those in power, will face consequences for their actions.
