Michael Chidozie, a Nigerian bodybuilder living in the United States, passed away following several gunshot wounds from his spouse, Keaiirra Shavoiyae Chidozie.
On March 21, during a heated argument in front of their kids at their Houston home, Michael, 26, was shot and killed by his wife.
It was reported that Michael and his wife got into a heated argument that quickly got out of hand. She then pulled out a pistol and gave the bodybuilder several shots.
When police discovered him in a nearby parking lot clutching their two children, ages two and three, and his wife in a panic, he was taken to Ben Taub Hospital with gunshot wounds.
After the wife was taken into custody by a family member, police later arrested her and charged her for her involvement in the shooting.
After enduring life support for a while, Chidozie sustained a severe spinal injury and passed away from complications eighteen days later.
28-year-old Keaiirra was freed on bond and is scheduled to appear in court again on May 23.
